  • If you’re just arriving from steam, Hello! This game is cross-platform so you’ll be meeting a lot of users from kongregate, mobile, and our web portal. You’ll see a platform icon by the player name when you run into people in multiplayer.

New Tutorial Added:

  • The Daramek Tutorial should now appear in the 'how to play' section.
  • Metris Tutorial now really is coming soon!
  • Added slot for an Endazu Tutorial as well.

New Promotional Coin:

Tournament Ticket Changes:

  • Tickets can now be earned from quests until you have 10 in reserve.
  • 1 Gem will now convert into 5 tickets instead of 2.
  • Every daily quest completed will now award a ticket.

In Game Resource Changes:


  • Gold, Food, Skulls, and Magic are now capped at 999.
  • Large conversions of Food to other resources will now spread out over multiple frames.
  • General code path optimizations should stop all economy abuse related crashes. That said, I’m sure you’ll all find something we missed. :)

Engine Stuff:

  • Engine upgrade should increase stability on Android platform. Sorry Android folks about the last few updates, let us know if you’re still having issues after the patch by visiting us on Discord or emailing support!
2019/02/05 (February 5, 2019) - Picking up Steam Steam Stuff:
  • War of Omens is in the Steam Store! Go put us on your wishlist and stay tuned! A bunch of steam only fixes/features follows.
  • Added Exit Button.
  • New coin unlocked by playing on the Steam Platform.
  • Keyboard inputs allowed in fullscreen mode (tried to make this all platforms, but browser security prevents it).
  • Higher Res full screen (should actually be all platforms?).

Bug Fixes:

  • Fix to card XP bars looking weird after a bunch of pack buys.
  • Prevent crash when a transaction confirmation fails.
  • Handle cache errors more gracefully and attempt to self correct.
  • Fix to 'buy again' button becoming unclickable in store.

Minor Stuff:

  • You can now generate a link code from a linked account, it will connect the new account to the source of the linked account. This will be useful for people who lost access to their original accounts but still play on their linked ones. Now you don't have to email me to fix it!

2018/12/4 (December 4, 2018) - A Finely Calibrated Sense of Acceptable Risk New Feature:
  • Silver and Gold packs can now be opened by watching video ads (does not work on Kongregate Platform!)

Bug Fixes:

  • Particles will no longer be stuck to the screen, hopefully.
  • Players who were in illegal tournament states should be able to play again.
  • Reduced crashes for players using Android 4.X.
  • Tome of Memory now works correctly when used on Undermine.
  • Faction and card specific multiplayer quest rewards increased.
  • Fixed a bunch of edge cases with cards that summon other cards and what happens when your opponent destroys/discards them.
2018/11/12 (November 12, 2018) - Present Day. Present Time New Features:
  • Quests can be rerolled extra times by watching a video ad (does not work on Kongregate Platform!)
  • Cards upgrading from packs now gives a Hero XP bonus.
  • Gameplay speed of your opponent can now be controlled from the in-battle menu.
  • Number of coins is now displayed on the card select screen and number of rare coins is shown on the pack info screen.
  • Overkills are now allowed for cards such as bounty.
  • Emotes are now usable in skirmish, and the AI may reply.
  • Use all for Charlatan will now feed until restock.
  • Use all for Apothecary will now feed until bank full or restock 1 if already full.
  • Upgrading a card in the store now plays a cool little particle... Shut up it was fun to write!

Balance Changes:

  • Scrivener no longer gives random resources.
  • Zamzigar is now limited to 4 health.

Bug Fixes:

  • Using 1000's of gold on Vintners (and things similar) shouldn't crash the game anymore, but it will will slow it down considerably.
  • Higher difficulties satisfy requirements at lower difficulties for quests, including PvP for PvE quests!!
  • Selecting 1000 silver after draft will no longer show buggy looking card information.
  • Rerolling a quest will now show you the name of the one you replaced to avoid confusion, duplicates weren't happening! But I mean if they were, now you can send a screen shot!
  • Gilded Generals no longer gild Gilded Generals.
  • F for Full Screen should now work anywhere in the game.
  • Added a delay before end turn could be activated to prevent accidentally skipping your extra turn.
  • Mobile users now get a little extra time per play in multiplayer.
  • Rating popup will no longer do that endless loop thing (sorry, really was a bug!)
  • Heroes can no longer retaliate while dead
  • Getting multiple coins from the store in one session will no longer cause the progress bar to show up.

2018/10/11 (October 11, 2018) - Lending a Hand Balance Changes:
  • Cards from packs now contribute directly to the upgrade of that card AND give a small ingot bonus, a hybrid of the old and new economy. Fully upgraded cards still give full ingot bonus.

Bug Fixes:

  • Tome of Memory doesn't get stuck if only available cards belong to the enemy.

Emotes:

  • More Vespitole emotes.
2018/09/25 (September 25, 2018) - The Version Before the Mute Button New Features:
  • Characters can now send emotes during multiplayer games.
  • One quest per day can now be re-rolled.
  • Multiplayer loading screen now displays how many users are in multiplayer.

Balance Changes:

  • Misinformation is no longer permanent, cost reduced to 2/3/4.
  • Stolen Plans now restocks enemy card in your bank instead of allowing purchase from enemy bank, cost reduced to 1/2/3.
  • Seduce now puts stolen ally directly into play, cost increased to 3/4/5.
  • Tome of Memory no longer increases hand size, feed it a magic to return a card to hand and add charge to random card.
  • Burglary now steals a non-coin from enemy inventory, cost reduced to 4/5/6.

2018/01/25 (January 25, 2018) - Mostly Under the Hood Made a bunch of fixes that apply to the mobile version of the game (which hasn't been released yet) and merged them into the main game.

  • Ambient sounds start quieter and are less frequent.
  • Clicking to play cards should be faster (removed a 1 frame delay in touch processor.)
  • Fixed another Aline bug in tournament.
